In 1961, the residents of Leechburg, West Leechburg, Gilpin Township, Hyde Park, and Allegheny Township chartered a non-profit corporation to provide recreation facilities for their friends and families.

That vision continues today through the work of the pool’s board of directors and faithful members of the pool and community.
