About the
Walkway
In 1998, Edgemont
School Foundation sponsored the creation of the Alumni
Walkway which was graciously designed by architect
Howard Cohen.
The walkway, located along the wall in the center
of the campus outside the C building, consists of clay
bricks which can be personalized to honor graduating
seniors, alumni, faculty, administrators, class reunions
and community leaders. The proceeds from the sale of
personalized bricks help fund the Foundation’s grants to
the schools.
Do you have a
child graduating this year and looking for a lasting
gift for your graduating senior?
Buying a personalized brick in honor of your new
graduate is the perfect gift.
If you have other family members who have already
graduated, why not consider honoring them with a brick
as well? For family members who will be graduating in
the future, you may want to consider buying an
additional brick now in order to reserve a location next
to another family member’s brick.
4x8 bricks can be
purchased for $150 with 3 lines of text and 14
characters per line. (Limit 1 Name)

About the
Edgemont School Foundation
The Edgemont
School Foundation was established in 1993 by a diverse
group of parents, school administrators, and alumni to
fund programs and projects to ensure that the Edgemont
School District would maintain its tradition of
education excellence. Since this time, approximately
$2.2 million has been granted to the school district for
programs that have improved the curriculum, modernized
facilities, and enhanced the educational experience of
all students at each Edgemont school. The Edgemont
School Foundation is a fully qualified IRS 5013
organization entity chartered in New York State as a
Not-for-Profit charity and gifts are tax deductible to
the extent permitted by IRS regulations.
Just over the past
year the Edgemont School Foundation has impacted
Edgemont by launching a recycling and composting
initiative at the elementary schools, providing much
needed professional development to faculty to better
assist in bringing technology into the classrooms and
put the final touches on the newly renovated Gymnasium
in honor of Jim San Marco, Class of '63.
We look forward
to seeing your brick on the Edgemont School Foundation
Walkway!
