The Susan Gardner Memorial Garden is to honor the memory of one of our former
teachers. Susan was a long-time First Grade teacher at our school. She was
beloved by all her students, parents, and co-workers. She loved Alaska and the
Iditarod and shared that love with her students as they followed the race each
year and rooted for their favorite racers. In the summer of 2016, she decided to
retire. Unfortunately, she died that summer unexpectedly while visiting family.
Help us preserve her memory and improve the garden with a brick path.
All current and former students, families, administrators, staff, and community
members are invited to help us pave the garden with the purchase of a
personalized, engraved brick. All parents or community members can honor your
child or family member, remember a loved one, show support for an organization,
or advertise your business with the purchase of a brick. Proceeds from this
ongoing fundraiser will help us upgrade our playground.
