My original inspiration came in 2018 after
a close family friend died after a long battle with cancer.
Further inspiration came in May of 2020, when my Mimi, Evelyn Tyler, passed away
peacefully at the age of 90. After her death, I started looking at memorializing Mimi at my church and realized it would be a good way to honor her, our close friend, and many others by giving people a place to pray and reflect. The project will also
beautify the area by adding ornamental trees and perennial flowers. The project
will also help environmentally by giving the migratory Monarch butterfly a
milkweed bed on which to feed and rest on their migration to Mexico.
I am asking for all assistance possible, so please buy a memorial brick! Thank you so much for your support!
