Lasting Sanctuary
Over 16,000 veterans have returned home to live in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey and Gibson counties alone — sons and daughters, husbands and wives, neighbors who served and came home to a world that moved on without them. Three times a week an Indiana veteran takes their own life.
Mission First, a 501(c)(3), is addressing this and other Veterans’ issues by creating The Sanctuary on the Hill. Located on 90 acres in Warrick County, Indiana, built by local veterans and community leaders as a home for healing, camaraderie and purpose.
Your donation will allow the completion and ongoing operations of this facility and enable either the installation of a personalized black granite tile or a concrete bench for you to pay tribute to those who served and those that support them.
