Commemorative bricks may be engraved to recognize family names, Bar or Bat Mitzvah celebrations, educators, staff or clergy members, businesses, or community organizations. Bricks may also be dedicated in honor of someone special or in memory of a loved one. Many donors choose to mark significant life-cycle events, including baby namings, B’nai Mitzvah, confirmations, graduations, weddings, yahrzeits, and the birth of a child or grandchild. Each brick serves as a permanent tribute to moments and relationships that matter most.

These engraved bricks are thoughtfully incorporated into Temple Beth Israel’s walkways and garden seating areas, becoming an integral part of our sacred space. Your contribution stands as a visible expression of your commitment to the mission, values, and future of Temple Beth Israel.
