SUZUKI SCHOOL OF NEWTON BUILDING CAMPAIGN
On November 11, 2017, Suzuki School of Newton purchased the historic
Staples-Craft-Wiswall farmstead 1615 Beacon Street in the heart of Waban
Village. Now, it’s time to convert the home into a music school and integrat-ed
arts preschool that will open its doors—and property—to area residents.
THE SPACE WHERE EVERY CHILD CAN
Campaign will provide Suzuki School of Newton with a permanent home that:
supports students, parents, and faculty; supports excellence in music education;
houses its music school and preschool under one roof; preserves historic
elements of the property; and positions the School to be a community resource
and partner.
The campaign goal is $3.1 million. As of May 10, 2018, $2,575,1000 has been
raised. Thanks to a $500,000 matching gift, $524,900 remains in order to make
the home music-, education-, and community-friendly.
