"The Walkway of Honor" was dedicated on November 5, 2006. The Girl Scout Gold Award Project, was designed and maintained by Auxiliary Unit 420 member, Melissa Zarker & her family for the past 20 years!
While the walkway will continue to be a vocal point at our Post home, we would like to extend an opportunity to our members, community, organizations & businesses to be a lasting part of our rich traditions! The American Legion Family from Steelton Post 420 in Pennsylvania is pleased to announce we are providing everyone with a unique way to honor and remember their friends, personal heroes and loved ones. The Legion family shares a love for all Veterans, their families and our community.
We would like to add to "The Walkway of Honor" by providing everyone with a place to have a lasting tribute. Your person of honor does not need to be a Veteran or service member, it can be anyone you wish to pay tribute to, yourself, family name, organization or business.
The walkway will consist of a red brick with the "in honor of", "in memory of", sponsor, organization or business name engraved & will be a lasting tribute that can be shared with many others for years to come.
All funds raised will go to American Legion programs. This project will also aid us in continuing to support those in need. Please consider this project as a lasting way to honor your loved ones while supporting John C Clark Sr, Steelton American Legion Post 420. Thank you!
