Museum in Houma, Louisiana!
Southdown Museum is an
historic sugar plantation home in the heart of Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana. We
have filled the home with many exhibits, showcasing the sugar cane industry, the
history of the plantation and mill, Mardi Gras, law enforcement and fire
fighters, as well as the four generations of the Minor family that built the
sugar plantation and beloved home.
Your contribution of
your legacy brick will be a lasting and meaningful tribute for your family
displayed proudly on the grounds of Southdown Museum for decades to come. All
proceeds will aide in the continuous restoration and ongoing operations of
Southdown Plantation Museum.
