Southdown Museum is an historic sugar plantation home in the heart of Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana. We have filled the home with many exhibits, showcasing the sugar cane industry, the history of the plantation and mill, Mardi Gras, law enforcement and fire fighters, as well as the four generations of the Minor family that built the sugar plantation and beloved home.
