WA Porter Elementary PTA

WA Porter PTA has been building a school Sensory Garden. This garden will be an opportunity to help teach our students about the environment, learn how food is grown and encourage health and wellness. It will make the learning process hands-on and engaging for kids. And school gardens build important life-long social skills, and teach responsibility, teamwork, and ownership. Gardens are full of unique sensory experiences that are impossible to duplicate indoors.

This new school garden is funded entirely by PTA grants. And now you have one final opportunity to help support the garden this year. You can commemorate your child’s years at Porter by purchasing a brick. These bricks will line the path in the garden and you can make your mark and permanently support WA Porter. 100% of all proceeds from brick sales will support our new school garden. Bricks are $60 for a 4 x 8“ brick; it will have space for three lines of engraving, 18 characters per line. You can use this personalization to include your child’s name and graduation year, to include their favorite quote or Bible verse, or to honor a favorite teacher or staff member.
