Pointers Association

As we lean into the Centennial anniversary year of Point Loma High School, we are excited to present a unique opportunity to commemorate the occasion, celebrate a past, current, or future graduate, or honor fellow classmates or family member(s) in perpetuity. As part of the construction of new sand volleyball courts right on campus, we are pleased to announce The Pointer Legacy Brick Project! This will comprise a permanent plaza of memories, adjacent to the new courts, and on the pathway to and from all future sporting events, concerts, graduations, and other gatherings at the PLHS stadium.

The courts will be located in the northeast corner of the stadium footprint (see attached images), meaning that the new memory plaza there will be high visibility for all passersby. The courts themselves will be used not just for beach volleyball, but also be available for student PE activities, and off-season conditioning by other sports teams and clubs. In this sense, it will truly be a "Pointer Plaza" for all, and a wonderful place to leave an enduring legacy.
