Built of, by, for, and with the communities we serve, PYB has continued to provide a safe, nurturing environment for young people to build the skill-sets and mindsets they need to succeed on the court and in their education, careers, and lives. We have always envisioned a permanent home where thousands of young people can become their best selves and that dream has not wavered.

After several years of building a robust organization, an impactful suite of programs, and a powerful community together, we are ready to make that dream a reality. Following years of ongoing construction, our future home, the Alan Horwitz “Sixth Man” Center officially opens Summer 2024,  located in the Nicetown neighborhood of North Philadelphia.

Here, everyone in our region will find:

●     A beautiful and well-equipped facility in which young people are safe, known, and respected;

●     A space where physical, intellectual, and emotional growth are nurtured together;

●     A program home to deliver holistic programs 7 days/week for multiple hours each day;

People from all parts of the city and region can partake in the reality of the facility which will empower thousands of boys and girls with this state-of-the art Center.
