Pittsburg County DAV Chapter 20

At Pittsburg County DAV Chapter 20, we are dedicated to a single purpose: empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. We accomplish this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them; fighting for the interests of America’s injured heroes on Capitol Hill; and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life. Help us in memorializing our hero's and have their names forever present in our "Pathway to Freedom" walkway. It's long been our desire to have some type of permanent monument alongside our building as a tribute to the legacy of our area veterans and their selfless service. Over the past few years we have been conducting much needed upgrades to our building and surrounding areas and now we are ready for a lifelong tribute section alongside our flagpole for all to see, honoring the legacy of the servicemen and women who answered the call for their nation.

If you've ever thought to yourself that you would like to do more to honor one of our hero's, now is the time. Your purchase of a legacy brick will not only forever honor your friend or loved one, it will also help fund our continued mission of providing assistance for veterans trying to gain access to healthcare, apply for VA disability compensation, or simply veterans in time of need. Your support enables DAV Chapter 20 to continue to provide the high quality assistance to our veterans and fulfill the promise that all of our service members will be taken care of when they come home.

If you have a family member or friend that served, or even your own name or business name as a veteran supporter, get it permanently engraved and on display at our Pathway to Freedom now. Include the veterans rank, branch of service, dates of service, whatever you'd like as long as it fits within the character constraints of the brick you chose. Stock logos are also available for engraving. We are dedicating an area surrounding our flagpole that will proudly display the bricks as a permanent tribute to your friends and loved ones that served along with those who help support them. This area will be enhanced with a protective border around the bricks and will have lighting at night. It will be a wonderful way to recognize and display those who answered the call and those who support them.

If you would like to choose any add-ons such as the donor brick or souvenir bricks, you will have to pickup those items at the Chapter in Krebs during business hours on any Monday.
