You’re invited to be a part of Royal history and “pave the way” for future generations of athletic excellence! In the summer of 2018, Oak Knoll broke ground on a major field turf project at our athletic facilities in Summit and Chatham. This includes turfing the upper field and upgrading our drainage system in Chatham, as well as enhancing the team bench and spectator seating areas and replacing our existing turf field in Summit. This project is essential to our ability to continue providing our student-athletes and award-winning athletics program with safe and competitive playing surfaces.
As we continue into the next phase of the project, we hope you will consider “paving the way” in support of Oak Knoll athletics by buying a brick to be permanently memorialized around our upper field flag pole in Chatham. These bricks can be personalized with your family name – or purchased in honor of one of your former coaches or teammates. Perhaps, even, you might consider purchasing a brick for each member of your family.
The turf project will have an immediate impact on multiple athletic teams, levels and seasons. Your generosity will touch the lives of student-athletes and more, from Lower School to Upper School. In September 2018, we officially blessed and opened our new turf field in Chatham and our students have been actively using the renovated field daily in Summit. By helping us “Pave the Way” to project completion, we can ensure we continue “meeting the wants of the age” for student-athletes and beyond.
