You are invited to
become part of our capital campaign for the renovation of the Sarah Hull Hallock
Free Library in Milton. The Hope Perkins Featherstone Annex was the last
large-scale renovation undertaken by the library in 1990. The library now
embarks upon a modernization plan which includes the consolidation of the
children's collection in the Annex with new child-friendly shelving and
furniture, a new ADA-compatible circulation desk, new carpeting, painting of the
interior walls and ceiling, as well as new energy efficient LED light fixtures.
Our brick fundraiser
provides an opportunity for you to not only support this project but preserve
your legacy. A walkway is planned with customized bricks which may be engraved
with your favorite book or author, your name or business, family names, friends,
or in memory or in honor of a loved one - the brick is your personlize! You can
see an actual sample of the brick in our library or town hall.
