Stamp your family name on a brick in beautiful downtown Metamora forever, and help out a good cause!!
Your Metamora Firefighters are raising money to help purchase a new fire truck for the Metamora Township Fire Department. The majority of MTFD’s fleet is nearly 20 years old. With today’s technology 20 years is a very long time. A new truck will give your firefighters a comprehensive upgrade of increased water-carrying and pumping abilities. This, combined with a more powerful truck that can also carry increased manpower and equipment, will make the response to any emergency more effective and efficient. An up-to-date, safety-compliant, user-friendly truck will benefit not only Metamora but the broader community in both Lapeer and Oakland Counties.
As you ay imagine, the cost of a fire truck is substantial. Any support we receive will be greatly appreciated. The bricks will be placed on the north side of Holden Heights connecting its parking lot to public parking in downtown Metamora. Our goal is to have the bricks installed in the spring of 2026.
A special thank you to Roy Holden at R.J Holden & Associates for making this project possible!
