Attention all current and former New Canaan Girl Scouts, leaders, friends, families and parents:
You're invited to help pave the way to the Merrie Bee Cabin! The brick sidewalk outside the cabin needs to be refreshed and what better way to display our Girl Scout pride than with the purchase of a personalized, engraved brick. Your support for our scouts will be prominently displayed along the walkway leading to the cabin.
You can choose to honor an individual Girl Scout, leader, troop, Gold/Silver/Bronze Awardee, recognize a graduate, or just show support for our organization with the purchase of a brick. Get creative! For example, a classic Girl Scout phrase (i.e., “Make New Friends,” “On My Honor,” “Make the World a Better Place”) might also be a fun option for your brick. No advertisements or corporate ads are permitted.
The bricks from this project will be installed as a new walkway to the entrance of the Merrie Bee Cabin.
Proceeds from the bricks will be used to cover the cost of the project. Any additional funds collected will benefit the Merrie Bee Cabin and New Canaan Girl Scouts.
**Please note: To the extent possible, any of the engraved bricks that are currently in the walkway to the Merrie Bee Cabin will be relocated and reused in another area on the property. Unfortunately we are unable to utilize the prior bricks in the new walkway due to their size and condition.
