The Rotary Club of Ligonier agrees!

Through the leadership of the Rotary Club, meetings have been held with families and children of our community and members of Ligonier Borough Council to develop a strategy to improve Friendship Park, Ligonier’s beloved playground located on Fairfield Street in Ligonier Borough. The resulting comprehensive plan will not only replace and repair the 20+ year old playground equipment, but will also address a vital concern – accessibility to the play areas and rest room facilities. 

This project has been enthusiastically embraced by the Valley’s residents and businesses, as community members of all ages, interests and skills are being called to serve on a variety of committees, some of which include art and design, childcare, fundraising, public relations, special needs and volunteer coordination.
