Foundations School offers a dynamic experience for K-12 students, combining traditional academic subjects with hands-on trade skills. Weekly Skills Days expose students to various trades and jobs in the local area, preparing them for real-world opportunities. We are raising expectations in a culture that has been lowering the bar for too long.
In 2023, Charli Turner opened Foundations School with the idea of providing an education that meets each student right where they are and growing them in their faith, academics, and abilities.
Each day begins with a meaningful ritual, including the ringing of a bell, the Pledge of Allegiance, and the Foundations School Pledge: “We pledge to serve God first in everything that we do, be a friend to people, and live a life worthy of our calling.” The school strongly emphasizes family and community involvement. From seasonal events like the Fall Festival Carnival to acts of kindness such as food drives and the Angel Tree gift program, students learn the importance of service and connection. For Foundations School, partnerships with local businesses and tradespeople have been instrumental. The community's support has allowed the school to thrive, providing everything from books to furniture, childcare, and teacher resources. Please consider a brick donation to help support the continued growth of the school and allow us to bring in additional resources, space, and instructors. In the next five years, we aim to build a shared facility for both the school and the childcare program, including a full-sized gymnasium that can also serve as a community center.
We will begin the brick layout in the summer of 2025. This will be a sidewalk leading up to and around the front of our schoolhouse.
Your brick with a personal or business name will help us build our Pathway to Excellence! All money from brick purchases will allow us to keep tuition to a minimum and cover operational costs.
