Would you like to leave your mark on Fishtown and help our beloved Rose Garden receive some much-needed upgrades?
The Fishtown Neighbors Association - a 501c3 nonprofit - is offering our community a limited-time opportunity to have their own personalized, engraved brick in the Rose Garden at 1405 Frankford Avenue (intersection of Belgrade and Frankford). The Rose Garden is a treasured public space in Fishtown and was created to honor the life of Wayne Ellis Jr. FNA helped preserve this public space several years ago, and our dedicated volunteers have caretaken it with regular watering, weeding, planting, and other necessary maintenance.
The Rose Garden is in need of several much-needed upgrades to ensure it thrives long into the future. This critical fundraiser aims to bring an irrigation system to the Rose Garden, so that it remains lush and healthy year-round. Fishtown-based urban winery Mural City Cellars has generously donated funds towards the irrigation system as well, so if fundraising efforts exceed the cost of the project, the FNA will invest those funds into other beautification and maintenance efforts at the Rose Garden.
Planned completion of the brick installation project is end of 2025.
Don't miss the opportunity to leave your mark permanently on such an important
local space and help preserve the Rose Garden for long into the future!
