The Faust Hotel is coming back to life in 2025!! Since its completion in 1929 as the Travelers Hotel, the Faust has been a vital historic landmark in central Texas. Since its construction, the hotel has boldly stood as a representation of New Braunfels' unique architecture, successful commerce, and civic pride. The new Faust has been under construction since May of 2024 and will boast a new restaurant and bar complex, a speakeasy event space, 45 enlarged bedrooms and suites (down from the original room count of 63), and new luxurious bathrooms!
As the heart of the New Braunfels community for nearly a century, the Faust has hosted tens of thousands of people for countless weddings, graduations, welcome and goodbye events, reunions, Sunday family brunches, engagement proposals, and myriad other celebrations, both intimate and large.
The Faust memorial brick program is a unique opportunity for individuals, families or companies to permanently memorialize parents, grandparents, friends or special dates in their lives, and the connection to the Faust, or to establish a connection to the future of the Faust. The bricks will be placed on the new East and South patios of the hotel and restaurant, ensuring a prominent showcase for these community monuments.
"Two brick options are available for purchase:
4” x 8” bricks: $250. These bricks will fill the majority of the walkway. Brick
color and placement will be luck of the draw. Three lines of text, with 18
characters per line, are available.
8” x 8” bricks: $1000. These bricks will form the border of the walkway and will
all be one color. These bricks may contain a custom logo pending approval by the
Faust Hotel. They can contain up to six lines of text, with 18 characters per
line.
Since its inception, the community has been the backbone of the Faust Hotel. Your generous support will help ensure the Faust lives on as a fine example of what New Braunfels has to offer, as well as interweaving your individual history and legacy, for all to see!
Hill Country Strong:
As we celebrate the return of the Faust Hotel to New Braunfels, we must continue to help those who are rebuilding their entire lives and community in the Hill Country after the disastrous flooding on the fourth of July. A portion of all purchases and additional donations through this Faust Memorial Brick Program will be donated to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund.”
