The Town of Farmington is proud to announce a brick fundraiser to generate funds for the Stephen A. Flis Scholarship. These bricks will be laid by the main entrance of the renovated 1928 Building, which will serve as the new Town Hall, scheduled to open in Fall of 2025.
Individuals are invited to participate by purchasing personalized bricks that will be prominently displayed outside the new Town Hall. This initiative serves as both a community-driven effort and a lasting tribute to Stephen A. Flis. Mr. Flis served as Farmington’s Town Manager from 1955-1985. His scholarship seeks to provide financial assistance to Farmington residents who exhibit a track record of Community Service and wish to make it a career. Every year, the scholarship is given to a deserving Farmington student seeking a Graduate and/or Undergraduate Degree in Public Administration or Public Service.
The Town of Farmington is delighted to raise funds for this initiative, ensuring the ongoing availability of the scholarship, while also providing residents with an opportunity to contribute to the preservation and restoration of the new Town Hall.
