Evans
Public Library has out grown its current building and has no room to
expand. The Board of Trustees has received a grant for 71% of a new building
project up to a $3.42 million contribution. The library is left with the
remaining 29% or $1.38 million to build a new library. Between the Old Capitol
Foundation’s generous donation of $500,000 and the library’s own savings for
this purpose, only $300,000 remains for us to reach our goal!!
Your involvement will
make a meaningful difference to Evans Public Library and the lives of the
community it serves.
The walkway that will
be installed at the new library building offers an opportunity for you to be
part of the future. Your purchase of a custom brick will help us reach our
fund-raising goals. It will become a permanent part of our new facility and the
brick will be visible to all as they enter our new beautiful building.
This unique gift is
perfect for the library lover in your life and supports literacy. Purchasing a
customized engraved brick is a wonderful way to pay tribute to or memorialize a
friend or loved one or give as a gift.
We appreciate the
support of our community and look forward to working together to Growing for the
Future!!
