The East Texas Patriot Foundation/Wood County Marine Corps League invites you to become a permanent part of our new building and immortalize your favorite veteran in your life. It doesn't matter if that Veteran was a Grandparent, Parent, Spouse, Sibling, Friend or You! Put their name, Rank, and dates of service on a brick tile and forever recognize them.

The brick tile you purchase will be proudly and permanently mounted to the left and right of the memorial honoring our Detachment namesake Shane Goldman. Lance Corpporal Goldman enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2002 and was on his 2nd tour of duty in Iraq when he lost his life on April 5th, 2004, due to hostile fire while conducting combat operations during Operation Iraqi Freedom. The Wood County Marine Corps League LCpl Shane L. Goldman Detachment #1278 was founded on April 8th, 2008, and we are proud to have members from every branch of service join and serve our Detachment.

Your generous donation with the purchase your brick will help us offset the cost of building upgrades and improvements as we continue to grow and expand our charitable service to our local communities and Veterans through our many programs we host/participate in throughout the year which includes the following activities: Marine Toys for Tots program, Annual Scholarships for graduating High School seniors, Annual Veterans Golf tournament, Veterans Day Parade, Veterans Ball and Marine Corps Birthday Celebration, Krodel Nursing Home Mission, Wreaths Across America, Guided Fishing and Hunting, providing volunteers for several local veteran support organizations as well as our monthly fellowship dinners and meeting.
