Damascus Home of Redwater, Inc.-Straight Street

Straight Street is a ministry of Damascus Home of Redwater, Inc. that provides care and services for men and their families suffering from the crippling effects of addiction. As a non medical treatment and recovery program, our vision is to empower men through faith based, 12 step recovery. We provide extensive spiritual application and life skills to help them discover hope and God's purpose for their lives.

As a 501(c)(3) non profit, the ministry relies on donations from fundraisers to offset the costs of operations and to make capital improvements to the campus. This fundraiser will do just that. There are several repairs and projects around the campus as well as repairs to the Damascus Home Resale Store that are vital to the day to day operations of the ministry. The Resale store is our largest source of funding and is in need of major roof repairs after damage from a tornado last summer. In addition to capital improvements, donations from this fundraiser will also help offset the general operating costs for the ministry. We strive to provide affordable care, by keeping our resident fees affordable for men seeking victory through Christ from addiction.

The bricks will be installed on the campus, lining the sidewalk as part of our ongoing Legacy Campaign.
