Bedford Village Chowder & Marching Club

The Bedford Village Chowder & Marching Club invites you to participate in our 2024 Brick Fundraiser to help support the youth of Bedford Village! You will receive a personalized, engraved brick that will be installed along the pathway at the Bedford Village Memorial Park. Parents, children, grandparents, friends, furry friends, and beyond can secure a permanent spot at our beloved park - all for a great cause!

Founded in 1956 for the purpose of raising funds to support youth programs and activities for the children of Bedford Village. The name of the club was inspired by the Chowder & Marching societies of pre-revolutionary times, where local groups of citizens gathered together over bowls of chowder to discuss community concerns and marched into town to air their grievances.

The club organizes two annual fundraising events each year: Dump Day/ Spring Clean-Up Weekend and the Winter Dinner Dance.

These events provide support for arts programs, club and school sports, Brownies and Scouts, athletic activities, youth outreach, scholarships, community service as well as capital projects in the community.
