The Walkway of Gratitude at CEI is a brick walkway located at the Gray-Howell Community Engagement Center at CEI's Freetown Farm in Columbia MD. In October 2024 we completed Phase 1, consisting of approximately 100 personal and business-sponsored engraved bricks.

The current 6’ walkway is located on the east side of the building. The next phase will be installed each year in the fall, based on accumulated orders. Please stop by to view the many inspiring bricks and see a sample of a souvenir (mini) brick.

$100 - 4X8” engraved brick
            4 lines of up to 21 characters per line

$200 - 8X8” engrave brick
            8 lines of up to 21 characters per line

$250 - 8X8” brick with a corporate name and logo

Mini versions of an engraved brick called souvenir bricks are available with the purchase of a 4X8” or 8X8” engraved brick (corporate logo bricks are excluded). Souvenir bricks are small replicas of the brick you order and make great gifts. The price of a souvenir brick is in addition to your engraved brick, as follows.

$25 for a mini 4X8” – actual size is 1.5”X3”

$30 for a mini 8X8” – actual size is 3”X3”
