As many of you may know, we have had significant improvements to our Lancer softball facilities over the last five years. If you have not been back to Rita Menke Field recently, we would love to have you at a game this year. We have a new locker room/concession stand, a new turf field, and new stadium seating with a beautiful press box. During the building process, and as part of our plan to continue to upgrade our facilities and equipment, we decided to leave room for a section of bricks to be placed behind our home dugout to honor our long-standing Lancer softball tradition. This year we will kick off our first “Buy-a-Brick” opportunity and will keep it going until the entire section is full. Below you will find details about the bricks and can also see a sample brick. We are so excited to honor the memory of so many Lancer softball players, families, and fans throughout the years, and to support our current Lancers in the process.
Fun Facts about the Bricks:
- You can purchase a brick for $125 or $200 and have it forever behind our home 1B dugout.
- Your brick will help create an everlasting softball monument where we will honor all past, present, and future Lancer softball fans, families, and players.
- The bricks will help us raise funds to purchase equipment and uniforms and to help maintain and improve our field, locker room, and concession stand.
