Join us on a journey to honor the past and lay the foundation for the future. The Legacy Venue at Barden awaits- a walkway & dedicated space for wedding ceremonies paved with personally-engraved bricks.
In 1931, John and Hazel Barden planted the first apple trees on the land that became Barden Family Orchard. Their grandson, Gilbert Barden Jr., continued the family legacy and was farming full-time until his unexpected death on May 25, 2023.
Our family has been searching for a path forward from this indescribable loss. With a deep sense of purpose to carry forward the family legacy, Gil’s daughter Stacey has a vision to preserve and maintain the farm. With unwavering faith, we believe this path will not only honor our family members who worked so hard to cultivate this land, but also continue to serve our community and create a foundation for new beginnings.
These custom-engraved bricks honor those who hold a special connection to the farm.

Embark on this journey with us as we create a Legacy Walkway and dedicated space for wedding ceremonies. Your contribution will be forever commemorated through a personally engraved brick. Our heartfelt hope is that you'll visit your brick year after year, weaving your story into the fabric of our orchard for generations to come.
With your support, we'll also breathe new life into the White Barn for an indoor ceremony and event space, ensuring it stands as a beacon of celebration, rain or shine. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for considering this invitation. We can’t wait to share this journey with you.
