Support survivors, buy a brick. Bricks purchased through this fundraiser will be installed outside of Alternative House's new, confidential emergency shelter. Alternative house has been opening doors for survivors of domestic violence for 40 years, help us continue to open doors for 40 more!

About Alternative House:
Alternative House (AH), a private, non-profit, 501 (c) (3) agency, has provided confidential, emergency shelter, a 24-hour crisis hotline and a multitude of other housing and support services to victims and survivors of domestic violence in Lowell and the Greater Lowell area since 1978.

Alternative House provides “around the clock” services to those who need immediate, confidential shelter and provides a 24-hour crisis hot-line staffed by specially trained trauma informed advocates. Alternative House also offers children's programming, legal, housing and community advocacy for all victims of domestic violence (and their children) who seek our help.

Alternative House is committed to the empowerment of all victims toward self-sufficiency. Alternative House does not discriminate against any race, class, culture, age group or sexual orientation. Alternative House also provides community education and support to reform societal attitudes that permit violence and oppression against anyone.
