HELP PAVE THE WAY – Help us create an enduring place to honor and remember the legacy of all heroes in our community and ensure our Veterans on the North Shore have access to critical mental health counseling and other vital veteran services by becoming a permanent part of a special building project. By purchasing an engraved granite paver you will support the new construction of the Lt Col Enoch O’Dell Woodhouse Veteran Outreach Center, named for Massachusetts’ last living Tuskegee Airmen. The granite pavers will be installed on the pathways leading around the newly constructed Veteran Outreach Center. This multi-purpose and multiservices outreach center will provide a robust facility capable of offering key veteran services, community, education/cultural experiences, and a place for veterans and veteran related events. The Veteran Outreach Center will provide a one-stop shop for access to a variety of fundamental veteran services, outreach, assistance, and critical mental health counseling on the beautiful southern campus of the Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical High School in Danvers, MA. The main tenants of the facility are a collaboration of state, federal and non-profit entities; Danvers Veteran Service Office (currently located at the Senior Center), Lowell Vet Center (needing expanded mental health counseling space in the North Shore area to meet clientele demands), as well as nonprofits Veterans QRF and Company 2 Heroes Veteran Service Dog Training Program. There will also be flex office space for the Veterans Administration (VA) and Massachusetts’ State Veteran Services. The Patriot Pathway will be a beautiful tribute and addition to the facility and campus as well as a fitting way to honor those who selflessly served this nation during times of war and peace and in dedication to all those Heroes in our community and in our lives. Help give all of our heroes the recognition they deserve and a place our Veterans can come to heal and learn.
