Town of Bridgeville EDC

We invite you to join your friends and neighbors in creating a permanent link to our future: the Bridgeville Memorial Walkway. By participating in this legacy project, you can honor and memorialize family, friends, a local business, an important event, a beloved pet, members of the military and first responders – even you!

The proceeds from your purchase of a Bridgeville Memorial Brick will be used to build the Bridgeville Memorial Walkway. Initially, this walkway will lead from the front of Town Hall to the recently refurbished plaza in the green space beside Town Hall.

Each 4x8 brick can be purchased for $75 and can be engraved with your personalized text. These bricks will be incorporated in the walkway. Additionally, you have the opportunity to purchase the same brick (for display purposes, with a felt backing) for $40. These bricks will not be incorporated in the walkway but can be displayed at home, in an office, business, etc.

Curved benches (15Wx41Lx18H) to surround the Memorial Plaza will be offered @ $1000 each and can be engraved with a logo or symbol, if desired, and 6 lines of text with a maximum of 40 characters/spaces per line. These benches are intended to complement the Memorial Plaza and provide a sitting area for peaceful reflection.

We also hope to fund some additional landscaping and new flag poles to showcase three larger flags: our American flag, the Delaware state flag and the flag of our town of Bridgeville; proudly on display and illuminated at the intersection of Main and Market Streets.
