The Baden Sons of the Legion invites you to help us construct a new memorial to our heroes. The vision for our commemorative site includes a Battle Cross surrounded by tribute bricks honoring both fallen heroes as well as the troops who fought and survived and those who are actively protecting our freedom today.

Freedom is not cheap, and its highest price is paid by our soldiers and their families.  The Cost of Freedom memorial will be anchored by the Battle Cross, a memorial emblem that honors and respects those who have fallen in battle.  The Battle Cross also serves as a symbol of mourning for those who survive, including the soldier’s loved ones, and their brothers and sisters in arms, all of whom have shared in the ultimate Cost of Freedom.  You can now honor the fallen as well as those still living with a custom-made brick.  Show your support by purchasing a brick engraved with the name of a fallen soldier, deceased or living veteran.  Your purchase will not only become a permanent part of Baden Post #641 Cost of Freedom memorial but will also help support the Legion’s efforts within the community to honor and recognize our men and women in uniform and their families who pay the ultimate price to protect our way of life.
