The City of Shelton has kicked off its ‘Buy-a-Brick’ campaign to help raise funds for the first dog park in Shelton.  Individuals and organizations can buy a brick, have it engraved, and dedicate their purchase in honor / memory of a special pet or make a fun statement that shows your love of animals and support for the park.

 

This is a unique opportunity for individuals and organizations to help our city create and maintain a space for dogs (and their humans) to play and socialize in a safe environment.  You will be helping to enhance the appearance of the dog park as well as making a statement in honor of a beloved pet or in support of our mission to support the city’s dogs.

 

Individuals can purchase a 4” x 8” brick for $ 50.00.  Individuals, organizations and businesses can purchase an 8” x 8” brick for $ 100.00.  The brick will be engraved with the text of your choice.  For an additional $10.00, you can include a paw print design.

 

All bricks will be incorporated into various ‘Dog Walks’ (brick paths) around the park, for all to view and appreciate for years to come. 

 

The bricks will be laid as and when there are enough to generate a new section of path.
