The Raymertown Volunteer Fire Co. is
constructing a Memorial to honor the firefighters lost on
September 11, 2001 as well as our own dedicated firefighters
				that have passed away.

We have been
honored to receive a section of steel column from the World
Trade Center towers. Currently, the steel is located at our
station and will be permanently erected at the center of our
				Memorial.

The Memorial
will be constructed primarily of cut stone along a vertical
backdrop wall and engraved brick pavers covering the ground
surface surrounding the World Trade Center column. Granite
panels will be mounted to the wall honoring our deceased members
as well as the firefighters’ Maltese cross.

The construction of the Memorial will
be funded by donations. We will be using brick pavers as fund
raisers to help us achieve our goal. We are asking donors to
contribute $50.00 for a standard 4x8 size engraved brick paver
and $100.00 for an 8x8 size brick. These bricks will be
permanently engraved with the names of people or businesses (no
phone numbers please), or possibly a simple message. For the
convenience of our donors, we have set up a website to see what
the bricks look like, type in their name/message, as well as
utilizing PayPal for payment. If you would rather make a
financial contribution, you may certainly do so by sending a
check to the Raymertown Fire Co., 43 Mason Lane Troy, NY 12180
				specifying “Memorial Fund”.

Thank you in
				advance for your generosity,

Pauline
				Hansen,                                       Mark Stackrow,
				President, Raymertown Fire Co.
				Chairman, Memorial Committee
