“Rebuilding Bowbells One Brick at a Time”

It is time we kick start this project into high gear . Finally we can get the Hotel renovation really underway. We are looking forward to becoming full time Bowbellians and getting involved in our community. We feel that one of the keys to getting this project jump started is by taking advantage of all of the wonderful offers that we have had from the people of Bowbells.

Everyone seems to really want to be involved and be part of the rebirth of the Bowbells Hotel.  So we are beginning this project by kicking off a sales campaign called “Rebuilding Bowbells One Brick at a Time”.

This is your opportunity to be part of rebuilding this town that we have all come to love starting with the Hotel and new restaurant. We envision the hotel to become not just the history but now the future of this town and county seat. It will be a business that is going to create jobs and many wonderful memories. So here is how you can get involved and become part of the future of Bowbells.

As you might know we are tearing down the old bar and rebuilding the lobby to become our new restaurant that will be known as “The Bistro”. It will include outdoor garden seating, a wine cellar, and a brick oven that we will be baking our hand tossed authentic Italian Pizza along with many other of our favorite Italian dishes and of coarse, yes fresh bread. Those of you that have been following our story know that one of the reasons that we love this hotel so much is because “We Love Brick”. So we are going to be doing a huge part of the remodel in brick. Although we plan to try to salvage some of the bricks from the town just because it is the right thing to do, we also need to use many new ones. So that is what gave us the idea of getting you all involved. No we are not going to make you help us salvage, gather and clean old bricks. What we are going to do is sell engraved bricks in our building to you all. I have received letters from all over the USA from people that have moved away and left their heart here in Bowbells. They will always have fond memories and are SO happy to hear that we are rebuilding the Hotel. Some of you have millstone memories in this hotel. Maybe you had your honeymoon here. Wouldn’t it be neat to walk into a restaurant and see your name and wedding date engraved into a brick that creates a wall in the hotel. Or what a wonderful gift to purchase a brick for each of your children with their birthday's engraved into the historic building. It will be something special to them to see and share with their children every time they come home to Bowbells. Maybe you are new here and would like to become a special part of this project and town. So why not place your family's name and date of you becoming a Bowbelliean on a brick. It is like carving your name into the history of this town. We even had a request to do something very special for a group of people that would like to make a substantial purchase. If you belong to a group such as a “Graduating class of Bowbells High School” and would like to carve your place in history we have a 12”x12” granite tile that could be engraved and placed in a very special place of the hotel lobby. We have three sizes and 3 prices so that it should fit into every budget.
