Maureen Joy Charter School is a K-8^th grade school located a few miles west of Downtown Durham. Our mission is to provide our scholars with the academic and character skills necessary to succeed in high school, college, and the competitive world beyond. Maureen Joy Charter School invites you to purchase a personalized engraved brick and leave a permanent testament of your support for Maureen Joy on the main walkway of our campus.

 

Bricks will be engraved with a special message designed by you. Bricks are a great opportunity to recognize a MJCS Scholar or favorite teacher, honor a loved one, promote your business or organization, or share a positive message.

 

Bricks are 4x8 inches and can include up to 3 lines of text, with a maximum of 18 characters per line.

 

Messages will be centered automatically in all uppercase letters. All text will be standard font, size, and style. Greek letters and other symbols not found on a standard keyboard may not be used. Maureen Joy reserves the right to approve all text prior to production.

Brick orders may be placed 12 months a year. When you order, you will receive an acknowledgement letter that includes a verification of the engraved text. If something is spelled or listed incorrectly, email buyabrick@joycharter.org within 2 weeks of receipt to make corrections.

 

Contributions are tax-deductible. Maureen Joy Charter School is a non-profit organization entitled to exemption from federal income tax under the provisions of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
