Thank you for your interest in the Ray
and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Camden, NJ. This
unprecedented project of its kind in the city of Camden will
impact the families of this city and region for generations to
come. The Kroc Center will be a 120,000-square foot facility
will be situated on a 24 acre parcel of the 85 acre former
landfill in Camden's Cramer Hill section. True to the Army's
approach of "ministering to the whole person," the Kroc Center
will house an array of programs designed to address the
economic, educational, health, recreational and spiritual needs
of the communities it will serve.
While the center will be open to all, it
was Mrs. Kroc's greatest hope that it would help young people to
realize their potential through an offering of varied programs
and opportunities. Thus, the center will include a full size
gymnasium, an indoor competition pool and water park, black box
theater, community gathering plaza, media center, learning
center, culinary arts teaching kitchen, choice food pantry,
early childhood education center, teen center, senior center,
athletic fields, health clinic and more. All programs will be
inclusive to community members without discrimination.
Purchase an engraved brick to be part of
our journey to a stronger Camden, to be part of our beacon of
				hope and agent of change.
A 4x8 brick is $50 and gives three lines of text to put a
special message, to honor loved ones, celebrate family and
friends, celebrate community or honor someone special in your
				life.  Thank you for
				being part of our journey!
