Root Elementary PTO

As you all know, construction is well underway on a new front entrance and we are all excited to have this much needed upgrade and added security. Unfortunately, one downside is that we have lost a lot of the walkway for engraved bricks. Many of the bricks near the front entrance have been temporarily displaced and will be re-installed after construction is completed. Additionally, the bricks require a lot of man hours from the district to install and maintain. After considering these factors, we have decided to discontinue selling engraved bricks after this year. We will continue to honor Root students with yearbook recognition and we are planning on adding a scholarship where we recognize donors on our website and social media.​​​​​​​

Now that you know this is the final year to order bricks, who wants a permanent place on Root’s engraved brick path? With your brick purchase, you can honor a student, alumni, or faculty member and you will be supporting the Root PTO. For a $50 donation, each 4X8 laser-engraved brick can include text of up to 4 lines and 18 spaces per line. Your brick might include a student and/or teacher’s name, years attended, or another brief message.

Orders must be placed online. The bricks will be placed over the summer.

The deadline for orders is May 20th.
