PATHWAY OF HOPES

"Therapeutic Riding produces smiles, giggles of joy, and friends. Riding a trained horse who instinctively knows he carries a special passenger lets trust and friendship begin. Physically the movement of the horse stretches and strengthens muscles, improves balance and coordination, and encourages learning. Unlike most therapies, therapeutic riding is fun and produces results!

Pathway of Hopes offers many ways in the future of the riders at Winslow Therapeutic Center. Every donor to the Pathway of Hopes-Building Campaign will be given recognition (unless the gift is anonymous). The campaign also offers many ways to recognize specific memorial or commemorative contributions.

Purchasing a Stone along our Pathway of Hopes is a memorable way to contribute to our rider’s future. Your tax deductible donation will help ensure that more children and adults with special needs will have the opportunity to benefit from therapeutic riding. Your name, a friend or relative’s name or a pet’s name will be placed upon a stone along the PATHWAY OF HOPES.

The Pathways will be set in various areas on the property. Our garden path will be a place for disabled riders, friends and families to enjoy the garden of five-senses. This pathway is made of stone, which is symbolic of longevity. Your help will give these handicapped individuals an opportunity to grow.

At Winslow we are very excited to reflect on the past, but are even more thrilled as we look forward to the new dreams and goals that are set before us. We hope that you will join us on the Pathway of Hopes Phase II of our Building Campaign.
