Pave
the Way
for...
St. Anne’s Future
You can help
beautify our parish property and at the same time commemorate a
special person or event in your life.
As we continue the
renovation of our buildings, it is now time to turn our
attention to the space between the Parish Hall and St. Francis
Hall – a space with much potential for both beauty and
practicality. Our plans include here a simple but beautiful
patio-garden which will serve not only as the access between the
two buildings, but also as a relaxing and re-energizing place
for those who visit or work in the area. On Sundays, or even
throughout the week, one will be able to sit and pray near the
new home of our St. Francis statue, or eventually walk from here
down the paved path to the Via Dolorosa.
We hope to finance
this area by paving the patio with Memorial Bricks. Memorial
Bricks are much like conventional pavers except that they also
hold personal memorial inscriptions. You may purchase a
Memorial Brick and have a message inscribed, for example, to
remember a deceased loved-one, honor a friend, commemorate a
special event, or to recognize your graduating class.
Bricks can be ordered on line or
by contacting the parish office, 918-251-4000. The cost for a
4x8 inch brick is $60; for an 8x8 inch brick, $130. The 4x8
brick can be engraved with three lines holding 18 characters,
including spaces, per line. The 8x8 inch brick has room for six
lines with 18 characters, including spaces, per line.
“Together, we will create a pathway that leads us to a new
beginning.”
