The Stanislaus County AG
Center Memorial Garden Committee is raising funds to establish
and support a memorial garden in the Center's courtyard. The
purpose of this garden is to beautify the central quad of the Ag
Center and provide a place to reflect, relax and re-energize for
those who visit or work in the area.
With the establishment of
the US flagpole, donated in honor of Capt. Ray Hill, Jr., and
the State flagpole to honor the men and women of Stanislaus
County who serve our great nation, the funds raised for the
garden will enhance and sustain these honors.
The first bricks will surround the White Oak tree, at the
mid-point of the quad, and enhance our "Tree of Life' with the
"Eternal Ring of Names". Following completion of this ring,
additional bricks will border the walkways that radiate from the
circular tree planter to the buildings. This project will span
many years and will be an ongoing process.
Your donation of $76 will purchase an engraved brick to leave a
lasting tribute to a person, business or club.
Memorial donations will be directed through the
non-profit, 501 (c) (3) Stanislaus County Ag Center Foundation.
Please identify your donation for the purpose of the Memorial
Garden, for which a separate fund within the Stanislaus County
Ag Center Foundation has been established. Bricks will be set in
place beginning with the formal dedication in the fall of 2006.
