PSI Continues to Grow:
Breaks Ground on New Building
Due to the overwhelming demand
from patients who require health insurance solutions, PSI is
expanding! This October, PSI broke ground on a new 15,000 sq.
ft. building at its headquarters in Midlothian, Virginia.
“There is a health care crisis in
this country,” explained Dana Kuhn, president and founder. “More
and more patients are being forced to rely on charitable
organizations such as PSI to locate and pay for health
insurance.”
According to Kuhn, PSI had more
staff than desks available, due to the tremendous growth in
several programs over the past year. The expansion will
accommodate 85 new employees, more than doubling current staff.
Most importantly, Kuhn emphasized, the increased number of
client service representatives will enable PSI to expand several
current programs and add new programs in 2006.
Along with the new building comes
new challenges, including funding for both the facility and the
expanded programs. A capital campaign has been launched to
identify donors who will contribute to the costs of the new
building.
“PSI is a unique organization,
providing assistance to thousands of patients each year who
suffer from more than a dozen chronic conditions. Donations to
PSI make a direct impact on the lives of families who face
financial ruin and this building is going to allow us to serve
even more patients,” said Randi Paltrow, director of national
relations.
Bricks engraved with the donor
name may be purchased to line the sidewalks, patio and garden.
Together, we’re making a
difference in the lives of Americans, one brick at a time.

you for your support.
