The Venture Club of Phoenix, in partnership with Americans Helping Americans, requests your support of the all volunteer driven initiative called Project SWING- a "Sensational Way to Impact a Neighborhood for Generations". Our mission is to raise $30,000 by September 30, 2005 to build a playground for the 400 children living at Pine Ridge Housing Complex, a low-income housing development located in Phoenix. We are asking for your investment.

Over 40% of the residents at Pine Ridge are under the age of 15, and currently have to cross several dangerous intersections and walk over a mile to get to the nearest playground. In a community where 88% of the parents are single and have multiple children living in small apartments, there is an urgent need for a safe, fun space for the children to engage in play under the supervision of adults.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation by purchasing an engravable brick to make Project SWING an overwhelming success. We are selling 2 sizes of brick. You can choose the 4X8 inch brick with 3 lines (18 characters per line) for $50. Or you can choose the 8X8 inch brick with 6 lines (18 characters per line) for $100.
