In 2008, Open Door Baptist Church had the
cross erected that stands 100 feet tall
in
Clearbook, Virginia off of interstate I-81. and shortly
thereafter laid the first Memorial Bricks at the foot of the
cross. The cross is soon to be lit and can be seen for miles.
Memorial Bricks, with their personal inscriptions, have become a
loving way to commemorate a special event in a person’s life,
honor a friend or family member, or memorialize someone special.
These lasting tributes begin at the foot of the cross and fan
out in a circular herringbone pattern that surrounds the cross
completely.
The cross will be surrounded by a small park like setting. Park
benches will be located in this park like setting making the
Garden a peaceful place of contemplation and a special personal
time to be with God.

Smith at 540-662-6552. An 4x8 brick can be purchased for $100.
The 4x8 inch brick has room for four lines with 21 characters,
including spaces, commas and punctuation per line. The net
proceeds from all Memorial Bricks go toward our Building Fund
and the Cross Fund.
