The City of North Liberty has
committed to building a sports pavilion at Penn Meadows
Park that will include 2 seven person bathrooms, a
concession stand, and a covered area with picnic tables.
The cost of the
pavilion will be $500,000, and the City asked NLYBS to
contribute $250,000.
In exchange, the
concession stand can be run by NLYBS parent volunteers
as a fundraiser, and will be designed so that it can
also be used by other groups during tournaments or other
events at the park.
NLYBS has saved
$50,000 that we can contribute immediately and Scheels
All Sports
is donating $25,000.
Funds raised by NLYBS
through grants and donations will count towards the
remaining $200,000.

pubic charity
501(c)(3) organization (Federal
ID number for your taxes is 06-1647872).
We invite you
to be a lasting
part of the Commemorative Baseball Diamond at Penn
Meadows Park.
This is a great opportunity
