The groundbreaking for the Benvenuti Performing Arts Center occurred in October 2005 and completion is estimated for March 2007. This 364 seat, state-of-the-art facility will include a large stage with ample wing and backstage space, a full fly system, a large foyer that will serve as a student art gallery, two classrooms, a dance studio, exterior renovations such as a new school entry, and an Art Walk displaying works created by NCS students as well as local artists.

Bricks with names of supporters (businesses and individuals) will be incorporated into the “The Art Walk”, a unique, attractive, aesthetically pleasing and interactive area surrounding the new arts complex, as well as the main and art plazas of the complex. We foresee the Art Walk and associated Plazas, utilized seven days per week with 1000’s of students and visitors on hand each month.
