C H A I W A Y - Derech Chai Ve’kayam
The Path That Keeps on Giving - Brick by Brick
Milken Community High School is celebrating 18 years as one community. It is also bashert (destined) that this year, the new Middle School will be completed, reaffirming, that our tradition is Chai Ve’kayam (alive and existing).
In the spirit of giving back to our community, this year our students fulfilled 17 mitzvot. Mitzvah #18 was created as a tangible project commemorating Milken’s Chai moment. A new brick pathway was designed connecting the new Middle School to the current Upper School, our Chai Way, Derech Chai Ve’kayam.
In order to appeal to all families, we have set a minimum amount of only $36.00 for each engraved 4” x 8” brick. It is our hope that families will purchase multiple bricks at this low price as an opportunity to be a part of the Milken legacy. The net proceeds from all brick sales will go to the Milken Community High School Scholarship Fund, thus becoming the path that keeps on giving. Any amount pledged is tax-deductible.
