CITY OF BELLEVUE 

 

“We are raising money to help meet the required match of a grant the Park Committee received from the Idaho Department of Parks and Lands to remodel and enhance ‘our’ Bellevue Memorial Park.  The bricks will be placed within the new sidewalk around the perimeter of the park and within the walkway around the playground area.

A community survey indicated that it was top priority to remodel and enhance this special City attribute.  The project was started this July 2008 with the removal and re-grading of the basketball courts!  We will finally have a court that is positioned in the correct direction!  Next, we will be building a sidewalk around the perimeter of the park, upgrading the electrical including adding extra outlets, creating ADA accessibility, and bedding in some new OSHA standard playground surface material.

The original project was budgeted for $110,716.00.  The Parks Committee was awarded a matching grant in the amount of $55,358.00.  To date, approximately $27,000.00 has been raised in match and in-kind services.  Your purchase of a brick, commemorating your support, will help us reach our GOAL OF $55,358.00!!
