Dear KHW Cousins,
Our Grandparents, Newton and Mary Knox,
lost everything; land,
culture, language and children. They were motivated to start
the rebuilding of our family, without the knowledge of who we
were before we were brought into this land.
Our Grandmother Mary Malisie was left to struggle with four
children and she endured for years. Around the early 1900's
Reverend Charles Cosby Harrison noticed the struggle and spoke
the words that gave us life today. Thus in 1904 this Family
Reunion began. As they seized control over our history which
determined our destiny today, we must take control for the sake
of our children.
We
must continue this legacy in the memory of our grandparents,
and for the history of our children and our children's children.
Each and everyone of you should be encouraged to get involved in
the KHW Cousin's Club. Your support is very much appreciated.
